All about Us…
Welcome to No.23 at The Airfield, a little coffee shop that can be found in the middle of the clubhouse at Henstridge Airfield. This airfield was originally built in WW2 to train Seafire Pilots and was then known as HMS Dipper. Now it’s a busy airfield for general aviation and home to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
Our mission is to serve great coffee, teas and other drinks along with cakes and light lunches. We do all of this whilst promoting local biodiversity and helping the planet in a small way. We aim to leave it better than we found it through using B Corporations as suppliers, using certified Rain Forest Alliance coffee beans and Fairtrade tea and composting our food waste on site to feed our tomatoes and pepper plants. We also donate profits to environmental charities.
We open from 10-4 Monday-Friday (except Bank Holidays). The regular Clubhouse Cafe is open weekends and Bank Holidays, see www.henstridgeairfield.com for more info.

What we do….Drinks
Teas
We have a selection of teas including English Breakfast, Decaff, Earl Grey, Rooibos, Green and fruit varieties. All are organic, certified fair trade and plastic free.
Cold Drinks
We offer a variety of cold drinks such as made to order milkshakes, coolers and iced coffee. We also stock a range of soft drinks from environmentally sustainable companies such as Fentimans, Cawstons and Green.
Coffee, mocha and hot chocolate
We make a range of your favourite styles of coffee drinks from Americanos to Cappuccinos to Lattes from freshly ground in house Rain Forest Alliance Certified Crema Espresso beans for a truly fabulous coffee.

Cakes
We have a wide selection of cakes that vary almost daily including Lemon Drizzle, Bakewell Slice and Millionaires Shortbread amongst others. Toasted teacakes are also on the menu…
Sandwiches
Sandwiches are freshly made to order on either white or malted brown bread and are served with salad, crisps and chutney. GF available. Served to eat in or takeout. SEE MENU BELOW.
